Our Mission
A world free of motor neurone disease (MND).
Motor neurone disease (MND) is a Beast.
Founded in 2014, FightMND was established with the purpose of finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for MND.
MND takes people - it takes the ability to move, it takes people away from their families and ultimately takes a life, all within an average of 27 months.

It also takes people to find a cure. It takes scientists who dedicate their careers to researching this disease, it takes the courage of people living with MND to fight on every day and it takes people like you who are with us in this battle against the Beast.
How We Help
We are fighting to beat the Beast.
Our vision is a world without MND however there is no effective treatment and there is no cure. Yet.
FightMND is one of the world’s largest independent global funders of MND research, including new drug development and clinical trials.
Finding a treatment or cure is only possible through careful, rigorous research. This takes time and investment. We fund the best scientists from around the world to conduct research on MND. While we work towards this goal, FightMND supports the MND community by investing in initiatives to improve the lives of people affected by MND in Australia.
